It is the recommended quoting method for any merchant dispatching from more than one location. ### How quoting works 1. Shopify sends the checkout delivery details to Bespoke. 2. Bespoke calls Rendr's Quote API to request live rates. 3. Rendr returns live services, pricing and ETAs for Fast (3 Hour) and Same Day. 4. Bespoke displays these as selectable shipping rates at checkout. ### How multi-location quoting is supported * Bespoke imports every Shopify location, and the merchant maps each one to a Rendr store ID. * At checkout, Bespoke reads per location inventory to identify which stores hold the items in the cart. * Only those eligible store IDs are passed to Rendr, with **"Return rates from"** set to **"Closest Store"**. * Rendr selects the optimal fulfilment location based on proximity, service level and service availability, then returns the rate for that store. > **Check** > > **Success looks like:** Once configured with Rendr, customers see accurate, real time delivery pricing at checkout, and each order is quoted against a store that can genuinely fulfil it. ### What you'll need * Admin access to your Shopify store, with permission to install apps * Your Rendr credentials, provided by the Rendr team at onboarding: * Client ID * Client Secret * Tenant ID * Store ID(s) --- ## Implementation steps ### Step 1: Install the Bespoke Shipping App Please install Bespoke Shipping App: [https://apps.shopify.com/custom-shipping-rates](https://apps.shopify.com/custom-shipping-rates). ![Install Bespoke Shipping App.](/_fern-img/4ead4b73acc247aa68136d8649aadce749a5053dbe8e997f7c52674edaed751f.webp) #### Log into your Shopify Admin Log into your Shopify Admin. #### Go to Apps Go to **"Apps"**. #### Open the Shopify App Store Click **"Shopify App Store"**. #### Search for the app Search for **"Bespoke Shipping"**. #### Install the app Click **"Install"**. > **Check** > > **Success looks like:** Bespoke Shipping appears in your Shopify Apps list. ### Step 2: Launch the Bespoke Shipping Wizard ![Launch Bespoke Wizard.](/_fern-img/cf681328ead1691ba437cfb08de6c2abf01041420a2b3d5fb14b250433320b0c.webp) > **Note** > > This wizard guides you through setting up shipping rates. #### Open the Bespoke Shipping app Open the Bespoke Shipping app. #### Launch the Configuration Wizard Launch the built-in Configuration Wizard. ### Step 3: Configure Rates #### Go to the Locations tab to import all Shopify locations 1. Inside Bespoke Launch Wizard, go to **"Locations"**. 2. Verify the warehouse locations are all correct store locations registered in your Shopify. 3. If you have recently added new locations from Shopify, click **"Import Locations"** so the new locations are imported to Bespoke. 4. Once you have verified all locations are imported correctly, click **"Save Settings"**. #### Go to the Rates tab to set up Rendr delivery rates Under **"Saved Rates"**, click on **"Add Rate"** or **"Edit Rate"** (if you have previously setup Rendr rates). Go through the following steps: **General tab** 1. Under **"General"** tab, fill in the following details: | Field | Value | | ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | Name | Rendr Delivery Rates | | Rate type | `Connect to a Carrier` | | Carrier | `Rendr` | | Tenant ID | Enter your Rendr `tenant_id` | | Client ID | Enter your Rendr `client_id` | | Client Secret | Enter your Rendr `client_secret` | | Return rates from | Select `Closest Store` and you should now see expanded inputs for Store ID. | | Store ID at XXXX | Map the Store ID exactly as shown in your Rendr Delivery Dashboard. Each of your **"Active"** store locations will have the assigned Rendr Store ID. Please contact your Rendr Onboarding & Integration team if you need assistance. | 2. Set the inventory threshold. This is applicable if you want to show rates only when the particular inventory threshold is being met. ![Map each store ID to Rendr delivery rates.](/_fern-img/eb94689d445dfb84bb3a31496ea12dcdade5144358d0c9e24c59f709aca28b53.webp) **Rate display tab** Under **"Rate display"** tab, fill in the following details: | Field | Value | | ------------ | ------------------------------- | | Display name | `rendr_[NAME]_[RENDR_STORE_ID]` | | Display code | `rendr_[NAME]_[RENDR_STORE_ID]` | **Adjustment tab** Leave **"Adjustment"** tab as it is. **Filters tab** Go to **"Filters"** tab and verify: * **"Include rates faster or equal to"** = `Include all ETAs` * **"Include rates where the ETA is not available"** is tick * **"Rate is active under all circumstances"** is tick #### Save your rate Click **"Save"**. Then click **"Save Settings"** again at the main Wizard page. ### Step 4: Invoke Rates to Bespoke Profiles Once you have saved the rate, navigate to the **"Profiles"** tab and add the Rendr Delivery Rate created to the profile. #### Add a product group Under **"Default"** profile, click **"Add product group"**. #### Select the product group Select the product group you want to display Rendr Delivery Rates. #### Add a zone Add Zone. Set accordingly to the zone you want to display Rendr Delivery Rates. #### Add the rate Add rate = **"Rendr Delivery Rates"**. #### Save Click **"Save Settings"** at the top. ![Invoke rates to Bespoke profile.](/_fern-img/b73ae8557ea935546777c915720d154ca2878a51eccca8e3d38c20bf44565458.webp) ### Step 5: Enable Shipping Rates & Test Mode Once you are ready to activate the rates and Bespoke profile: #### Open the Bespoke Shipping App Inside Bespoke Shipping App. #### Open Settings Click on the **"Settings"** button located at the top menu. #### Enable the shipping rate status Inside the **"Settings"**, set **"Shipping rate status"** = **"ENABLED"**. #### Enable test mode (if applicable) To test the checkout experience without exposing the rates live to customers yet, set the **"Test mode"** = **"ENABLED"** ![Enable shipping rates and test mode in Bespoke.](/_fern-img/061089f70b215190e2d3a9d5dc76f098be1e07bea7d9f750fcb1c012552b76ad.webp) > **Note** > > Go to [Testing](#testing) section to test checkout experience before turning the rates live. ### Step 6: Activate Production mode & Go Live! When you're ready to go live, set the **"Test mode"** = **"DISABLED"**. > **Check** > > **Success looks like:** > > Your store will begin returning accurate, real-time Rendr delivery rates at checkout to your customers! --- ## Testing > **Note** > > Please ensure your Bespoke's setting has set Test mode = ENABLED. While Bespoke is in Test Mode, the rates won't be visible to live customers yet. You'll be able to test the flow safely. Once you are ready to go-live, you will simply need to turn off the Test Mode and this will switch live rates in production. **To test the quoting & checkout flow:** #### Add a product to your cart Add a product to your cart and proceed to checkout. #### Enter customer details Enter customer details as First Name = **"Bespoke"**, Last Name = **"Test"**. #### Enter a delivery address Enter a valid delivery address. Try different addresses to check that the rates reflect correctly for each fulfilment store location. #### Confirm the Rendr options appear Confirm Rendr shipping options are available. > **Check** > > **Success looks like:** Rendr live delivery rates appear as shipping options. --- ## Support and troubleshooting ### Contact us If you need assistance, contact Rendr Support. | Channel | Details | | ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------- | | Email | [support@rendr.delivery](mailto:support@rendr.delivery) | | Onboarding & Integration | Your assigned Rendr onboarding and integration contact | ### Common issues #### Rendr rates are not appearing at checkout **Cause:** Shipping Rates isn't enabled or Rates haven't been invoked to Profile. **Resolution:** 1. Go to Bespoke settings, verify that **Shipping rates** = **ENABLED** 2. Go to **Launch Wizard** and check Profiles have been set to correct product group, zone, and Rendr delivery rates #### Authentication error when saving credentials **Cause:** Client ID or Client Secret is incorrect. **Resolution:** 1. Re-copy the production credentials from Rendr team 2. Paste them carefully into the correct fields 3. Click **Save** 4. And then click **Save Settings** again in the main menu #### Rates are returned from the wrong location **Cause:** Shopify Store ID mapping is missing or incorrect. **Resolution:** 1. Go to **Launch Wizard** 2. Go to **Rates** tab 3. Click **Edit** on the Rendr Delivery Rates 4. Ensure **Return Rates From** = **Closest Store** 5. Confirm each Shopify location has the correct Rendr Store ID
