# Update Location Operating Hours

Updates a location's opening hours, pickup hours, pickup windows and special hours. Send only the fields you want to change. A change publishes a `LOCATION_OPERATING_HOURS_CHANGED` event.

**Authentication:** Bearer token required via the `Authorization` header. The caller needs the `update-store-operating-hours` permission.

## Parameters

All fields are optional. Include only the fields you want to change.

| `opening_hours`  | Array | Optional. When the store is open to customers, by day. Same shape as [Create a Location](/api-reference/location-management/create-a-location#opening-hours). |
| `pickup_hours`   | Array | Optional. When couriers can collect orders, by day. Same shape as [Create a Location](/api-reference/location-management/create-a-location#pickup-hours).     |
| `pickup_windows` | Array | Optional. Pickup windows for the location.                                                                                                                    |
| `special_hours`  | Array | Optional. Override hours for specific dates, such as public holidays.                                                                                         |

### Validation rules

* `day` must be between `0` (Sunday) and `6` (Saturday).
* `to` must not be earlier than `from`.
* `buffer_minutes` must be at least `1`.

A successful request returns `200 OK` with the updated location.
